Abstract: The four-bedroom home at 319 Millwood Road isn't just another modern mansion in Westchester County, it's also a work of art, a testament to the craftsmanship of the late architect Myron Goldfinger.

Just days after the 90-year-old modernist architect died of liver cancer on 20 July, the Newburgh, N.Y., home was recently listed for the first time.

Newburgh, N.Y., was recently listed for the first time. The asking price was $2.495 million.

Goldfinger is probably best known for his design of dieter Fred Jaroslow's monumental Long Island home, which was the setting for the raucous house party scene in the film The Wolf of Wall Street. (Go ahead, Google it).

His portfolio of high-profile properties focuses on the Long Island area of New York, specifically the upscale enclave of the Hamptons. Simple, modern designs with striking Mediterranean elements are the hallmark of Goldfinger's work.

Imagine: blank white facades paired with striking Roman columns and sculptural courtyards.

The over 6,000 square foot Chateauneuf property features a 40-foot barrel-vaulted entrance, suspended staircase and geometric walkways.

In addition to its impressive aesthetics, the home comes with a long list of amenities, including a two-story fireplace, gourmet kitchen, and a master suite bathroom with soaking tub and sauna.

Perhaps most impressive, however, are its outdoor amenities - there are multiple terraces and decks with views of four landscaped areas, as well as a pool and tennis court.

The villa is conveniently located within a 50-minute drive to New York City.
